This is my experience and review of FordPartsGiant.com. As an upset customer who had a negative experience with Ford Parts Giant, they did nothing to fix or remedy my complaint and their deception. On my first call to them I felt lied to, and deceived by their phone representative. If she would not have lied on that phone call I would have ordered from someone else and received the necessary parts on time, instead of now being delayed by over a week waiting for Ford parts to arrive at the mechanic.



If you need Ford Parts quick, order from the dealer. If you want to save money and get modest delivery but more trusted service then use TascaParts.com.

My Ford truck had broken down on a road trip. I had to leave the truck at a mechanic in PA and get a rental vehicle to NY. When I received the estimate from the mechanic working on my Ford Truck, there were several Ford Parts I needed, and they said I could order my own parts if I wanted.

I browsed several Ford parts websites and even the Ford Dealers to get the best prices and most importantly the quickest delivery times. Being that I am stranded on this trip, time was very important.

I had called another ford parts website company which said that if I ordered from them they would have to order the ford parts, get them shipped to them, and then ship out to the mechanic working on my Ford vehicle.

I them called FordPartsGiant.com and spoke to a representative who said that they worked with numerous Ford Parts centers and Ford dealers. That they would try to locate the Ford parts from the nearest dealer to my delivery location to deliver quicker and safe on shipping. This sounded great, as I already know that a Ford Dealer about 10 minutes away from the mechanic had the parts, along with several other Ford dealers in the local area having the parts.

So I went ahead and made my order from Ford Parts Giant, $799 worth of parts on 7/14.

The next day FordPartsGiant.com sends me an email stating that I need to confirm my order. They had sent the email at around noon, but I did not check my emails until about 4 hours later. Now I had to call them to confirm my order because my billing and delivery addresses were different.

I called and confirmed my order with Ford Parts Giant, and the representative said that they would start working on ordering my order. When I questioned why she was just now going to start working on my order, she said that my ETA would still be 7/17 (Friday) and see said latest 7/18 (Saturday). I am fine with those dates, since that seems to be comparable with what the information that was provided on the first call prior to making my order. I clarified to her how time is important to me, and she said not to worry.

Parts ordered now with FordPartsGiant

The email I received on 7/16 is the reason for this review of FordPartsGiant.com, and my bad experience with them.

Ford Parts Giant sent me an email on 7/16 stating:
“We would like to inform you that we have ordered the parts (which are listed below) from the Ford Parts Center to complete your order. We will ship out the order in its entirety once we have all the parts.”

Here it is 2 days after my order was placed, and FordPartsGiant is just placing the order from a Ford Parts Center, and they will ship once they have all the parts… That is not what I was told on my first phone call, that is not what I was told on the phone call where I had to confirm my order.

So I call FordPartsGiant (888-788-9341) and had to speak to a manager (Andrew), who basically said that he is sorry so my inconvenience and bad experience and that he will have someone look into the phones calls.

My explained my situation to Andrew and how much this is costing me in rental vehicle, housing and food being that I am away from my house and without my vehicle, but Andrew says there is nothing he can do to expedite the order process or shipping of my parts and that they will not incur the cost to ship faster.

Due to first phone call I had to FordPartsGiant.com and the false information their representative gave me I placed my order with them. If I would have ordered from somewhere else, I would have received the ford parts sooner and save hundreds on incidentals due to my situation.

Review of FordPartsGiant

My review of FordPartsGiant is based on my experience, but after reading several other reviews on Ford Parts Giant, I am not the only one who has had a bad experience with them. BBB currently has a F rating for them, with numerous negative reviews on other websites and forums.

The parts that arrived were original Ford parts and were priced cheaper than buying directly from Ford. I just wish they were accurate with the information they provided from the beginning. The Shipping did take longer than they originally stated, which was a big negative for me.
