Let’s get into the ELECAENTA 120W Foldable Solar Panel review and our opinion. First we will clarify that ELECAENTA did send us this foldable solar panel at no cost for us to evaluate and review. Living in South Florida, there are days when we have plenty of sun, and several overcast days.
I will tell you that I loved this portable solar panel. I used it to charge up an iPhone, portable batteries, even power up an LED light in the shed. We tried being a little rough with is to see how it would hold, and it did.
What we Did Not liked about the ELECAENTA 120W Foldable Solar Panel
There is very little not to like, but I did find the system to be a little heavy, coming in at about 10 pounds. I am not sure where they can cut weight, as the construction is pretty heavy duty and durable.
With that said, I am sure it’s not too heavy to carry for a camping trip, fishing trip or a small RV.
What we Liked about the ELECAENTA 120W Foldable Solar Panel
Everything else. This portable solar panel folds nicely into an easy to carry suitcase measuring about 20.5 by 14.2 by about 2 inches, about the size of a larger laptop bag.
This portable solar system comes with 4 carabiner clips to attach or hang it from anywhere to use. These came in very handy, as I hung it on a ladder, fence, tree, even from the roof of a shed.
What I really liked is that variable output sources. Not just does it come with 10 different DC connectors including a very convenient anderson cable, but also a USB and USB-C output. You can use them all at the same time as this 120W Foldable Solar Panel can put out up to 18V.
During our ELECAENTA 120W Foldable Solar Panel Review we did not test the waterproofing of the system. But it is pretty clear that is can weather some rain, but not a dip under water.
