Let’s get right into the 5000mAh Dizaul Solar Charger Review with the manufacturer description. Dizaul clearly states that it takes 35 hours of direct sunlight to charge the 5000mAh battery bank to full capacity. This means 35 hours of direct sunlight, most places will get 6-7 hours (at best) of direct sunlight, and can take 6 days to fully charge using the solar panel on the Dizaul 5000mAh Solar Charger. The Solar Panel is not really useful, except maybe in extreme emergency or as a back up. This doesn’t mean the entire device is not useful, let’s take a look at the manufacturer description and specs.

The build quality is fairly simple and appears durable and is waterproof. I left it outside for a few days to test the solar charging and the rain did not seem to have any affect. The side rubber protective covers don’t seem like they would last long, but they held the rain out for the time being.

When it comes to charging a smartphone, this Portable Solar Power Bank took quite a bit of time to charge, being that it only pushes out about 1A of power – that’s about the same as a low 12V charger in your vehicle (most are 2.1A).

I did like the small USB LED light and carabiner that came with the Dizual. The included USB LED light was useful, and actually bright. If you double tap on the power button there is a small LED light that does light up on the side – it’s about as bright as the light on a smartphone.

The Dizaul Solar Charger was small enough and light enough to just carry around in a pocket, or use the included carabiner to clip on a backpack.

6 Month Solar Charger 5000mAh Review Update

I’ve had this little charger for about 6 months now. I leave it on the BBQ side shelve to charge and it’s weathered the outside pretty well. There is minimal signs of it being exposed to the elements as much as it has. This Solar Charger 5000mAh still charges up, and I have not seen any wear on the battery itself. I still use the mini usb light that came with it, even that that has seen better days and the clear plastic cover is starting to get that hazy look. Overall, it has lasted and performed better than I expected for a generic cheap little solar charger.

These are not the best Dizaul Solar Charger review videos, but they do a fair job at describing the product.
