This is my opinion, experience and review of Imperial Banquet Hall at 585 E 49th St #11, Hialeah, FL 33013.
The people who operate Imperial Banquet Hall are thieves. Even though we gave them ample time to cancel, they refused to refund anything at all. Not even the extra monies paid for extra services such as photography, video or extra decorations. We would have been more understanding if these were items that they had paid for already, but we had given them such advanced notice that we know they had not spent money making any reservations for our event. That is the main purpose for this review.
Scheduling Event
We had scheduled an event with them for March 28th 2020. This was supposed to have been my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary, which they never had a formal wedding.
My wife and I were very excited about this event, and had invited numerous of their friends and family members to attend. As you can imagine, most were older in age.
Because the date was scheduled for March 28th, they required we pay the full balance in advance. We make the payment for the full balance on March 9th, which included other sub-services such as a videographer, balloons, flowers, and several other add-ons.
Cancelling Event due to Covid-19
On March 11th, 2020, due to covid-19 CoronaVirus, we decided it was going to be best to cancel the event and give Imperial Banquet Hall plenty of notice.
Even though we gave them ample notice, they refused to refund any money, even those add-ons service. After a few back and forth conversations they said that they would allow us to re-schedule to another date in the future.
This was a once in a lifetime event, there is no point of re-scheduling. Imperial Banquet Hall never refunded any money, even keeping money that was supposed to be for other services.
I would recommend you stay away from Imperial Banquet Hall.
There are plenty of other Banquet Halls in Miami to choose, I wish I would have chosen any one else other than them.
