When Okaysou contacted us about this AirMic4S review, not just were we very excited, but came in at the right time. We are currently pregnant with twin boys, and since our Weimaraner sleeps in the room with us, my wife had already been browsing around for an air purifier. To make it clear, Okaysou did send us this air purifier for at no cost, but we are not paid nor is there any agreement of the review outcome.

So let get into our Okaysou AirMic4S review:
Packaging – This Air Purifier came in a plain brown exterior cardboard box, which was great as most delivery people leave things sitting by the front door. It just looked like a regular box with no real markings. There was an interior box with the regular markings. The AirMic4S air purifier came well packaged with plenty of styrofoam protecting the corners, top and bottom. When you open the package, the first thing you see are the instructions, and the air purifier inside a plastic bag. The filter is already inside the device, and also wrapped in plastic.

Initial Setup and Use – You plug it in, press the power button. That simple! In today’s age, we have lost the beauty of simplicity.Control – All the controls are on the top of this Medical Grade Air Purifier, and very easy to understand. Power Button is in the middle, turns on and off the device. Fan Speed, there are three speeds; Low, Medium, and High. Timer, allows you to set the air purifier to run for 2h, 4h, or 8hours. If this option is activated you will the see the appropriate display light up. Nighttime setting, Light, toggling this button allows you to turn on, dim and turn off the blue light on the device. The Filter light will only activate when a filter replacement is recommended.

Operation and Performance

You can definitely tell this air purifier is working. Walk out of the room, walk back after about 30 minutes, and you can smell the clean fresh air; and That is What Matters! In general the Okaysou AirMic4S will improve the air quality in a 200 room by about 85%.

An air purifier is really as good as the filter, their medical grade true HEPA grade h13 can capture particles as large as .03 microns. This removes, bad odors, smoke and harmful gasses, as well as most viruses. Okaysou offers 4 filter types for your environment and air quality needs.

Noise levels of the AirMic4S

• Low – Unless the room is completely quiet, you can barely hear is operating. (about 24 decibels)
• Medium – You can hear it’s working, but it’s not more than a light white noise.
• High – Audible, but as with most fan or other air cleaners, it sounds like a faint white noise. (about 51 decibels)

Cost of operation

Once you buy a Medical Grade Air Purifier or any other air filtration device, that’s hardly the end, you have a cost to operate. This includes filter changes and energy consumption.

• Depending on use, and air quality where the Okaysou AirMic4S is used, you might need to change the filter about every 8 months. The Air filters cost about $25. That would be an annual cost of about $38.(assuming 1.5 air filter changes per year)
• As for Energy consumption, the Okaysou AirMic4S Medical Grade Air Purifier is rated at about 25 watts, with the standby power less than 0.5 watts. If you run this Okaysou AirMic4S for about 8 hours per day, it would cost about $9 per year.

Before concluding this Okaysou AirMic4S Review, let me talk about the lack of a remote control. While I was laying there in bed, I was thinking about changing the setting on the AirMic4S. I thought to myself ‘I wish this thing had a remote control‘ just so I would not have to get out of bed. As I laid back in bed, i put some thought to the lack of a remote control. Then I thought about previous reviews I had read on other air purifier, and consumers mentioning how they had lost or broke the remote and the unit was useless. Then I though about an app, and then I thought about how my phone already has too many apps and junk. Okaysou, thank you for simplicity. There is an old saying (KISS – Keep It Simple Stupid) and this Okaysou AirMic4S is simple, easy to use, and effective.

The overwhelming consumer of this AirMic4S Medical Grade Air Purifier are positive, with 77% of reviews on Amazon being 5 Stars, and an overall 4.6 review rating out of 5. Only 3% gave the AirMic4S a negative review, mostly due to either not being able to find replacement filters (Available Here) or due to the product arriving damage, in which case you can contact their support.

To finish this Okaysou AirMic4S Review – It’s a buy! It’s affordable, easy to use, and effective. I loved that it removed all the smells from the air. The ambient blue light made a great nightlight in the room at night. On high, it sounds like a faint white noise (great for sleep). My only problem, is that now I want another one for my living room area; maybe their AirMax8L, or AirMax10L.

6 Month Update on the Okaysou AirMic4S Review

By now I have been running this Okaysou AirMic4S for a little over 6 Months and I think I like it more than ever before.
We have a large Weimaraner (110 pound dog) which sleeps in the bedroom with us on his bed. The nursery room for out twins is adjacent to our bedroom. We did not want to change Blue’s (the Weimaraner) normal patterns with the arrival of out twin boys. So, he still sleeps on his bed in our room, and the door to the twins room is right next to his bed.
Can I tell you this Okaysou AirMic4S is amazing! The thing removes the pet odors, and the air still smells and feels fresh.
I’ve cleaned the exterior filter on the AirMic4S once a month and the interior filter is still good for maybe another month.
Having that exterior filter really helps in keeping the interior filter clean and saves on filter replacements.
Overall I could not be more happy with this Okaysou AirMic4S.
