The doorbell appears to be very well designed and fairly easy to install and activate.
The mount has a security screw to prevent theft. Where the mount lacks is that it only installs flat. If you are positioning near a wall, the wide angle grabs dead space.
The ieGeek Wireless Video Doorbell Camera can set up and be ready to use in 10 mins, that’s if you don’t need to run hardwires to power. If you use batteries only, expect to change them after about 1000 activations (depending on batteries and use)
Photo resolution is 1080P HD, quite clear and motion detection is a lot better other similarly priced wireless Video Doorbell Cameras. Nice wide angle view as well.
The app does seem to use quite a bit of baatery.
One really nice feature over the other cameras is the fact this actually has internal storage. The brand name ones force your to buy cloud storage but with this one you don’t need that you can store the video local. So far it’s been a really nice camera that gives you a ton more features and value over other brand names.
Bottom line: This ieGeek WiFi Video Doorbell Camera Review lead me to think that this worth the money, and a good value if this is the type of device you are looking for. There are other, more expensive doorbell cameras on the market if you want more features.
